We’re delighted to share that Karina Neef (UMCU) has taken on a new role as Program Manager for Circular Safe Hospitals at the institute 4 a Circular Society.
In her role, Karina will be collaborating with researchers from our alliance partners, TU/e, WUR, UU, and UMCU, as well as with societal partners, to pioneer circularity in hospitals.

In Karina’s words:
Good health for humans and nature are unmistakenly connected to each other. For instance the medical waste we create, impacts all life forms!
I am convinced that transdisciplinary collaboration and therewith collective solutions can both increase effectiveness in implementation as well as the amount of impact in the transition towards a circular society.
I am proud to be part of the movement, initiating themes for scientific research, grant application and engage in consortia building for the Circular Safe Hospitals theme.”
Karina will play a pivotal role in further developing and concretizing the Circular Safe Hospitals program. Keep an eye out on our website and LinkedIn page for the latest CSH updates.
