The shift from a linear to a circular society is not optional—it’s a necessity. Our current patterns of production and consumption are driving climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and growing social inequality. It’s clear we need a different approach. One that is bold, collaborative, and focused on real-world impact.

About the event

On 12 June, we bring together idealistic changemakers, unconventional thinkers, and fearless collaborators for a full-day conference designed to spark action. Hosted at the Mauritskazerne in Ede, this conference is your opportunity to help co-create practical solutions for a circular society.

We’ll focus on two urgent themes:

  • Urban-Rural Circularity (URC) – Exploring how to close loops between cities and the countryside
  • Circular Safe Hospitals (CSH) – Rethinking sustainability in healthcare

In the morning, you’ll join interactive knowledge sessions led by experts across disciplines. In the afternoon, you’ll roll up your sleeves in pressure cooker sessions, working side-by-side with others to develop project proposals for our Seed Funding programme.

The complete seed call text will be announced in week 21.

Co-Creation Tracks Announced

We’re excited to share that the five co-creation tracks are now confirmed. These themes will not only shape the working sessions during the conference, but will also form the basis for the Seed Funding calls:

  • URC: New economic, legal and governance models for circular regions: Driving systemic change in the foodsystem

  • CSH: Rethinking material use in healthcare: Supporting healthcare professionals in making sustainable decisionss
