On December 3rd, we had the opportunity to dive into how the Institute for a Circular Society (i4CS) is driving impactful, transdisciplinary projects that are shaping the future of circularity!
During the session, we heard from two of our seed projects as they shared their groundbreaking work and the innovative paths they’re paving in Urban-Rural Circularity:
- Societal change in constraints and motivations for future upcycling – Nina Rosa, PhD (WUR)
- Accelerating public-private partnerships for circular public spaces through inclusive digital technologies – Vikrant Sihag (TU/e)
Throughout the session, we explored how i4CS is fostering innovation through its resources, from seed funding and research support to dynamic “pressure cooker” sessions that spark rapid idea generation and collaborations. These tools are designed to accelerate partnerships and drive progress in circular initiatives.
This session was presented by:
Sacha Tensen – Programme Manager Urban Rural Circularity
